The remaining of the locker

Locked out

Hello folks,
I have an "anecdote" that I wanted to share with you. Since a week the locker of my door does not work properly as we turned two keys (one out and one in). Therefore, the locker has been damaged. I have called the agency to come and fix it but nobody came. Yesterday I have called the lady again she was like " I have sent someone who will come during the day". Ok I though that the person will do the work during day time so after work I went home. I put my key in the locker but I could not turn it, I have tried several times nothing then one of my neighbour helped me same scenario. I figured that the locker was totally broken and could not turn anymore. I kept my self-control, I left went to capoiera enjoyed it and came home. I do not know why but I though it would probably be easier after capoiera! Same story could not opened it . I called the guardian to help same same and same again NO WAY the door was not moving.
It was something like 8.30 pm meaning no shops open. Finally we found a woodsman to help me. He came with his material and managed after 40 min to broke the armored door. I realised that I was well protected, it would have been difficult for a robber to broke into my house. Which is a very good thing. I was lucky to have another upper locker to be able to lock the door and go to bed without any fear. What a story!!!! I have almost slept outside! No in the worst case I could have slept at some friends, I am sure they would have welcomed me with a big smile ;)
I am glad that it happened on monday evening at a reasonable time and not after a night out on sunday at 3 am.
Everything went back into order. The agency is supposed to send a guy this morning to replace the whole locker hopefully, they'll do it this time......To be continued.....
Nice day
Lots of hugs

La familia Guineene de la mission

Sailing on the Laguna Ebriee

I am back!!!!

Ladies and gentlemen, Soooooooory for such a long silence. I hope you are all doing fine. I am ok too. I have moved in a new appart with a friend of mine, Laura. She is a british girl also working here for the mission. The appartment is very nice with two bed rooms, large living room and a terrase. We are living in a residence where there are a swimming pool and a tennis court! Believe me or not but since I moved in I have NEVER EVER been to the swimmimg pool!!!! Shame on me. Anyway it is a very nice complex in the distict called 2 Plateaux in Abidjan. The area is lively with shops and restaurants near by and very close to my capoiera club yay! Apart from that I have been sailing on WE with friends. One of my friend has a Catamaran so we often go on the Laguna on sundays. I still do not know when excatly i will come in Europe probably sometime in April/May. I will post pict of the new flat very soon. Lots of hugs fatou xxx
